The Harris-Stowe State University men's basketball program shot a season-high 57 percent from the field to collect their second American Midwest Conference (AMC) victory of the season, defeating Hannibal-LaGrange University 80-70. The Hornets' record moved to 2-2 in the AMC.

The Harris-Stowe State University men's basketball team collected their first win of the 2012-13 season when they defeated Mid-Continent University, Thursday night 72-66 at the Emerson Performance Center. The victory improved the Hornets' record to 1-1 on the season.
