JOPLIN, MO- The Hornets season came to a heart-breaking end tonight as they dropped their 2nd game in the AMC Tournament to Lindenwood University-Belleville 4-0.

Belleville held a 1-0 lead for the majority of the game until the top of the 8th inning when Ian Rodriguez doubled down the left-field line and scored CJ Norman and Darrius Ford. Rodriguez would end up scoring later in the inning after an HSSU error to make it 4-0.

Harris-Stowe never sent a player across home plate but had numerous opportunities; the Hornets left eight runners in scoring position on base throughout the course of the game.

Tanner Disibio (SR/San Jose, CA) got the start for today's game going 8.0 innings with six strikeouts. Stephen Wells (JR/Orlando, FL) finished the final inning with no hits.

Harris-Stowe finishes the 2018 season with a 30-24 overall record and 6th in the conference.
