ST. LOUIS, MO- After back-to-back conference wins against Park and St. Louis College of Pharmacy, the Hornets looked to notch their third conference win of the season against Lindenwood University-Belleville. Unfortunately, the aggressive offense of LU-B could not be contained by HSSU's defense and they took the 4-0 win.

LU-B's Angelo Fanzares kicked things off for the Lynx in the 7' when Rodolfo Salbego sent a corner kick right to Fanzares and connected with the back of the net for a 1-0 lead. Andres Garza would get the second Lynx goal just four minutes before half time with a shot from 35 yards out that went just past HSSU goalkeeper, John Jancewicz (FR/London, England), for a 2-0 Lindenwood-Belleville lead at the half.

The lone shot on goal for the Honets came in the 68' when Geuel Serbonij (FR/Willemstad, Curacao ) sent a shot towards the Lynx starting goalkeeper, Joan Carlos Perez, who recorded his one save of the night.

Lindenwood-Belleville's two second half goals would be recorded in the 62' and the 78' by Sebastien Durand and Gustavo Gonzalez, respectively.

Jancewicz got the start in goal today and recorded 6 saves in 82 minutes. Serbonij, Felipe Campos (FR/Niteroi, Brazil), and Nijaz Salkic (JR/St. Louis, Missouri) all recorded one shot a piece.

The Hornets will be back in action this weekend when they travel to Williams Baptist College for the American Midwest Conference Game of the Week. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m.
