ST. LOUIS, MO- After a tough fight against 5th ranked Columbia on Wednesday, Harris-Stowe faced another challenge in the Pirates of Park University. Though they played them almsot dead even in the first half, two second half goals from Lydia Parker and Isabel Sullivan gave Park the edge they needed to take the game 3-0.

The Hornets wasted no time taking their shots as Claire Tomaw (SO/Baraboo, Wisconsin) challenged Park's goalkeeper, Alyssa Gregory, early in the first half with a shot on goal at the 9'. HSSU would only get one other shot off in the half when Victoria Sample (FR/St. Louis, Missouri ) took a shot at the 35'.

Park saw their first goal come just 29 minutes into the game when Isabel Sullivan found herself with a deflected cross and sent it in the right side of the box and found Taylor Buckholz.

The Pirate's two other goals came just 4 minutes apart in the second half. Both assisted by Emma Chatterton, she found Lydia Parker, first, and Isabel Sullivan, second, to give Park the 3-0 win.

Claire Tomaw lead the Hornets today with 2 shots on goal whole Georgia Herrington (SO/Milton Keynes, England) recorded 1. Starting goalkeeper, Camila Chaves (FR/Bogota, Columbia), recorded 4 saves to bring her season total to 36.

Harris-Stowe will be back in action next Tuesday when they face St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The game will be played at Maplewood Richmond Heights and is set to start at 6 p.m.
