Oklahoma City, OK- After a strong start to the game, the offense of Oklahoma City University kicked into high gear with 11 shots and 3 goals in the first half while going on to take the game by a final score of 5-0.

Brandon Lightfoot recorderd back-to-back saves in the first 13 minutes before Henrik Verolet connected with Logan Stewart for the first goal of the game. Verolet and Alexandre Taiar would round out the rest of the scoring for the 1st half.

Yasser Kauaria and Sergio Pomajambo were the lone Hornets to get shots off in the first half while Lightfoot recorded 4 saves in the first 45 minutes.

The Hornet's offense got a spark in the 2nd half getting off 8 shots compared to the 2 in the previous half. Justin Donovan and Sanchayn Lawrence lead the way with 2 shots a piece while senior goalkeeper Brandon Lightfoot recorded 8 saves.

Just as HSSU's offense started to pick up, Oklahoma City University's Logan Stewart and Fabian Henningsen found Andrew Flores and Henrik Verolet, respectively, for the 4th and 5th goals for the Stars.

The Hornets will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they face Mid America Christian University. Kick-off is set for 3 p.m.
