Former Harris-Stowe Hornet catcher Dylan Yankle has signed a professional contract with the White Sands Pupfish.  Yankle hit .413 this season with 44 RBI and a team high 8 homeruns.  Yankle was selected as American Midwest Conference First Team All-Conference.  He was also selected by Black College Nines as Second Team All-Elite.  Yankle becomes the first Hornet to sign a professional contract since Jerry Hodges in 2008.  He also becomes the first known Hornet to sign a contract in the same season that they competed with the Hornets.
