Harris-Stowe State University Head Women's Soccer Coach Scot Vorwold announces the signing of Fort Zumalt South senior starting midfielder Lyla Rudloff. Lyla helped her team to a 14-13-3 season, taking 3rd place in state after losing to Webster Groves (eventual State Champions) in the semifinal match in penalty kicks by a score of 1-0. Not only is Lyla a force on the pitch, but Rudloff is also a member of the National Honor Society, and has won many academic achievement awards for maintaining above a 3.4 GPA as well as being selected to the honor roll for seven consecutive semesters. Rudloff on choosing Harris Stowe: " I chose Harris-Stowe because it's a great opportunity to further my academic and athletic careers while keeping me close to home. I think it's a good fit for me when it comes to student body as well as what the education has to offer. But soccer is something I'm very passionate about so being able to continue with that for, four more years is an opportunity I couldn't pass up on."  What Coach Vorwold had to say about the signing: " I am absolutely ecstatic about adding Lyla to the team. She is a very strong and smart player and keeps things simple. She is going to give us added coverage in the middle as well as in the air."
