The Harris-Stowe Softball team fell to the Central Baptist College Mustangs 8-0 and 9-2 in an American Midwest Conference doubleheader.  The loss drops the Hornets to 1-27 on the season and 0-22 in the AMC.  The Hornets will end their season on Tuesday as they travel to play Lindenwood University – Belleville. 


Game 1: Loss 8-0

Courtney Norris started for the Hornets and gave them 5 innings allowing 8 runs on 8 hits.  She was let down by four errors by her defense.  Nakeyah Bradford had a single and a triple for two of the three Hornet hits.  Daylon Brooks collected the third.


Game 2: Loss 9-2

The Hornets took an early 1-0 lead as Alix Adams hit a homerun to leadoff the game for the Hornets.  Adams would go 3-4 in the game with a pair of singles.  Daylon Brooks had a triple and Kyra Greer collected an infield single.  Bradford had a double and a sacrifice fly for the 2nd Hornet RBI.
