The Harris-Stowe Softball team fell to the Lindenwood University-Bellville Lynx by the score of 8-0 in both games.  The losses drop the Hornets to 1-12 on the season.  Harris-Stowe will now travel this weekend to take on American Midwest Conference opponents Freed-Hardeman University on Friday and #19 ranked Williams Baptist College on Saturday. 


Game 1: Loss 8-0

Nakeyah Bradford started for the Hornets and allowed seven earned runs while walking five Lynx batters.   Bradford also picked up a double and Courtney Norris had the other Hornets hit.


Game 2: Loss 8-0

Courtney Norris started for the Hornets and allowed 13 hits while surrendering 8 runs in and 8-0 loss. Daylon Brooks had a double and Keshundrea Bradley picked up a single.  The Hornets committed only 1 error and Norris only walked a single Lynx hitter.


Game Notes:  

  • Next game is Friday at Freed-Hardeman Univeristy.  Doubleheader, game one will start at 2pm.  Morgan Stadium-158 E. Main St. Henderson, TN 38340
