Tonight the Harris-Stowe Women's Basketball team beat the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics 75-45.  Harris-Stowe led from 16 seconds in and never trailed.  The victory is the 17th on the season for the Hornets who are now 17-9 and 13-7 in the American Midwest Conference.  The Hornets are now 8-3 in the Emerson Performance Center. 

In the first quarter Brionna Taylor got the scoring started and would end the quarter with 10 of her 12 points.  In the second quarter the Hornets kept the pressure on the Eutectics by outscoring them 21-7.

At halftime the Hornets had a commanding 21 point lead. 

In the third quarter Angela Randall would score five points and Alantis Sutton would hit two 3 point shots.  At the end of the third the Hornets led 59-26.  In the fourth Iland Shurn and Khalilah Morrow would each score four points and the Hornets won the game 75-45.


Game Notes:

  • Next game is Thursday at home in the Emerson Performance Center against Park University.  Tipoff is 5:30
  • Khalilah Morrow had a career high 14 rebounds
  • Hornets tied an all-time 2 year win mark of 36.  (2006-2008)
