The Harris-Stowe Men's Basketball team won its fifth straight game on Saturday as they beat Lindenwood University Belleville on the road 85-61. The victory moves the Hornets to 10-11 on the season and 8-7 in American Midwest Conference play. Harris-Stowe is now in sixth place in the AMC standings with the top eight advancing to the AMC playoffs.
The Hornets dominated the first half and led 41-20 at halftime. The Hornets defense smothered the Lynx into just 27% shooting and 18 turnovers. Jalen Fletcher was the star of the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Cameron Biedscheid had a season high 17 points and Malik Wineglass had 12 points.
