This afternoon the Harris-Stowe Hornets Women's Basketball team fell by the score of65-58.  The loss drops the Hornets to 14-7 and 10-5 in the American Midwest Conference.  The Owls improve to 14-7 and 11-5 in AMC play. 

The first quarter had both Angela Randall and Brionna Taylor contribute 6 points each but trailed 19-16.  In the second quarter Shaye Barrett had five points and help cut the Owls lead down to two points.  In the third quarter the Hornets struggled from the field and the WWU got off to a 46-39 lead going into the fourth quarter.  In the fourth the Hornets had their best offensive quarter putting up 19 points but it was not enough as they fell by a final score of 65-58.
