Men's Soccer - Mon, Dec. 5, 2016

The Harris-Stowe Men's Soccer team has been awarded seven American Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference Selections for 2016. To receive the award the athlete must be a sophomore or older in the class room and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0.

Head Coach Scott Hartwig on his team in the classroom, "Our main focus within the program is to develop and graduate outstanding student athletes. We had a tough season result-wise on the field, but these guys excelled in the classroom. It's no surprise to me that they were Academic All-Conference, as they were Academic All-Conference in 2015 and part of our Men's Soccer NAIA Scholar Team last season. Being repeat offenders in this area is fantastic. A majority of this team has good academic scholarship funding because of their impressive grades. This goes to show that the hard work and study does pay off, quite literally"
