Volleyball - Tue, Oct. 25, 2016

Tonight the Harris-Stowe Hornets Volleyball team will take on the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics (1-16) for a home contest starting at 7pm start in the Emerson Performance Center.  The Hornets are 4-15 on the season and beat STLCOP earlier in the year in 5 sets.  The Hornets are coming off a 4 set victory over Crowley Ridge. 

 

Key Hornets

Miaya Peacock / Junior / Outside Hitter

Peacock has had a very successful first season as a Hornet.  She leads the team with 219 kills.  Her 3.48 kills per set ranks 4th in the American Midwest Conference. 

Kennedy Netters / Junior / Setter

Netters leads the Hornets with 358 assists.  She had an AMC season single game high of 60 assists vs STLCOP earlier in the season.

Tiffany Hopkins / Freshman / Middle Hitter

Hopkins is second on the team with 44 blocks.  She also has helped contribute 51 kills, including 6 in the final set in a victory over Crowley Ridge.

Mackenzie Wagner / Freshman / Outside Hitter

Wagner leads STLCOP with 113 total kills.  She is averaging 1.13 kills per set and is 4th on the team with 15 blocks.

Busola Oginni / Sophomore / Middle Blocker

The St. Louis native leads the team with 42 blocks.  She has 74 digs to go along with her 101 points.

Julia Huynh / Freshman / Defensive Sub

Huynh leads the team with 254 digs.  She also has 24 assists.
