Volleyball - Sat, Oct. 8, 2016

The Harris-Stowe Volleyball team traveled to Columbia, Missouri for the second time this week to play American Midwest Conference matches.  Last night the Hornets fell to the Stephens Stars in 3 sets.  The loss puts the Hornets at 3-13 on the season and 1-7 in AMC play.  The Stars improve to 5-17 and 2-5 in the AMC.

The Hornets fell in set number one 25-11.  HSSU played closer in the second match but still fell 25-18.  In the third match it was again the Stars finishing strong to win 25-10.  Kennedy Netters had 29 assists in three sets.  Miaya Peacock had 15 kills.


Game Notes:

  • Next game is Thursday at the Emerson Performance Center against 14th ranked Missouri Baptist.  Game Time is 7pm
  • Hornets are 2-2 at home this fall
