The Harris-Stowe Volleyball took on Freed-Hardeman on the road for back to back American Midwest Conference contests.  The Lions of Freed-Hardeman took the game three sets to two.  The loss puts the Hornets at 2-8 on the season and 0-2 in AMC play.  The Lions move to 3-5 and 1-1 in the AMC. 

The Hornets won the first set 25-19.  The Lions beat the Hornets by a narrow 25-23 in set two to make it 1-1.  The Hornets bounced back to win set number three 25-16 but the Lions took the next two sets 25-15 and 15-9 to take the match.  Kennedy Netters had a season high 20 digs in the game.  Akilah Thomas had a season high 7 kills.


Game Notes:

  • Next game is Friday at the Emerson Performance Center for a home contest against Williams Baptist College for another AMC Contest
  • Miaya Peacock recorded her 5th straight game of double digit kills
  • The Hornets are 2-0 while playing at home in 2016
