The Harris-Stowe Hornets fell in 4 matches on Friday night as they traveled to Conway, Arkansas to play Central Baptist College.  The loss puts the Hornets at 2-7 on the season and 0-1 in American Midwest Conference play.  With the win the Mustangs move to 3-6 and 1-1 in AMC play.  The Hornets will face Freed-Hardeman University this afternoon as they finish up a 2 game road trip.    

The Hornets won the first set 25-20 but fell in the next three, 25-15, 25-19,25-23.  Miaya Peacock had a season high 15 kills as well as 10 digs and 5 serving aces.  Jhameka Lambert-Gully had 16 digs to go along with 2 serving aces.

  • Hornets will play Freed-Hardeman today at 1pm.  Freed-Hardeman University Sports Center. 158 E. Main St. Henderson, TN 38340
  • Hornets had a season high 52 digs
  • Hornets had 38 total kills while CBC had 33
