Women's Soccer - Tue, Apr. 15, 2014

Harris-Stowe State University has hired Scot Vorwold as the next head women's soccer coach to replace Lindsay Kennedy-Eversmeyer, who left after one season to become the women's soccer assistant coach at UMSL.

Vorwold has previous connections with Harris-Stowe as a student-athlete on the men's soccer team as team captain for his final two seasons (2005-2007) and assistant men's soccer coach from (2009-present).

Vorwold has served as the Athletic Director at Tower Grove Christian School since 2011. In addition, he has coached Tower Grove's varsity girls' soccer team to two consecutive state championships in 2012 and 2013.

"I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to coach this program," said Vorwold. "With the talent the program has returning in addition to the recruits we are preparing to sign; the 2014 season looks very promising."

Vorwold is a graduate of Harris-Stowe where he earned his degree in Business Administration.
