BATESVILLE, AR- The Hornets continued their dominant season with a 4-0 win over the Scots of Lyon College.

Rosara Hernandez got things rolling for the Hornets just five minutes into the game when she caught a pass from Yuliana Noyola Miranda (JR/Cancun, Quintana Mexico ) and found the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.

Just three minutes later, Paula Ulreich (JR/Munich, Germany ) netted her 9th goal of the season to give Harris-Stowe a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Lizette Popoca (SO/Waukegan, Illinois ) and Yuliana Noyola Miranda secured the Hornets 4-0 win with back to back goals in the 61st and 85th minutes.

Camila Chaves (SO/Medellin, Colombia) was perfect in goal today, saving all six shots fired at her today. She now sits with 18 saves for the year and notches her 5th shutout of the season.

Paula Ulreich etched her name into the women's soccer program record book on Popoca's goal today as she recorded her 12th assist of the year. This surpasses the previous record (11) held by Christi Dzurick in 1996, Lindsay Kennedy in 1999, and Johanna Wallstab (SO/Munich, Germany ) in 2016 for most assists in a single season.

Harris-Stowe (8-2-2; 4-2-1 AMC) will be back in action this Saturday when they host the Owls of William Woods University. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
