BATESVILLE, AR- After their tie with the lynx this past weekend, the Hornet soccer team was looking up for their competition against the Scots of Lyon College. But, the offense of the Scots could not be stopped as HSSU went on to drop the match 3-0.

Lyon's first goal came in the 21' of the match when Estiven Garcia found the back of the net from the outskirts of the box.

Harris-Stowe's lone shot on goal came in the first half when the Scots' goalkeeper saved Adrian Diaz Alvarez (JR/Madrid, Spain)'s shot.

Lyon College would net two more goals in the second half to give them the 3-0 win.

HSSU recorded six shots today, getting two from Gabriel Osorio (FR/Bogota, Columbia) and one from Christopher Baruani (JR/London, England), Sharnieff Walker (SO/St. Louis, Missouri), Felipe Campos (SO/Niteroi, Brazil), and Alvarez.

John Jancewicz (SO/London, England) got the start in goal today making seven saves on 10 attempts. His season total currently sits at 33.

Harris-Stowe (1-9-2; 1-4-2 AMC) will be back in action this Saturday when they host the Owls of William Woods University. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
