BELLEVILLE, IL- The Hornet men's soccer team came out of today's match with a point after their 1-1 tie to Lindenwood University-Belleville.

Harris-Stowe struck first when Sanchayn Lawrence (JR/Kingston, Jamaica ) found Christopher Baruani (JR/London, England) who netted his first goal of the season.

Lindenwod-Belleville tied the game in the 43' when Pablo Martinez found the back of the net to make it 1-1.

The Lynx and Hornets played even in the second half, totaling just six and four shots, respectively. However, in the 87' of play, a weather delay would be called and, eventually, would end the game in a 1-1 tie.

John Jancewicz (SO/London, England) got the start in goal today and recorded four saves in his 87 minutes of play. He adds the saves from today to his season total that is now at 27.

Harris-Stowe (1-8-2; 1-3-2 AMC) will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Batesville, AR to take on the Scots of Lyon College. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m
