PARKVILLE, MO- After a 4-0-1 start to the 2018 season, the Pirates of Park University ended the Hornets streak with a 4-0 win.

Park's Lenvix Ochieng gave the Pirates their 2-0 lead in the first half with back-to-back goals in the 28' and 32'.

The Hornets offense struggled in the first 90 minutes of play, getting three shots off compared to the Pirates 15.

Park added on two more goals in the second half from Maria Carvalho and Kira Whittle to secure their 4-0 win.

Torrie Helms (JR/Sikeston, MO) and Deja Lundberg (JR/Atlanta, Georgia ) led HSSU with two shots a piece while Camila Chaves (SO/Medellin, Colombia) recorded four saves.

Harris-Stowe will be back in action this Saturday when they host the Eagles of Williams Baptist University. Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Hornet Field.
