SAINT LOUIS, MO- Traveling across town, the Hornets battled the Gorlocks tonight and nearly came sent them into overtime as they dropped the game 1-0.

The lone goal of the game came in the 47' when Webster's Issac Pearson's found the back of the net from eight yards out.

Harris-Stowe fired off 14 shots tonight, six of them being on-goal. Christopher Baruni led the way with five shots, three on-goal, while Lawrence Sanchayn and Eric Habonimana (JR/Tanzania) both recorded two.

John Jancewicz (SO/London, England) got the start today recording five saves in 90 minutes.

HSSU will be back in action on Saturday when they host the Panthers of Principia College in their home opener. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
